The next generation Seasonic X-Series models are available in 650 W, 750 W, 850 W, 1050 W and 1250 W variations to ensure that users with light or heavy workloads are satisfied. The X-Series power supplyunits feature a fully modular DC connector with an integrated Voltage Regulator Module (VRM). This new design feature offers a DC to DC conversion with a lower current and higher efficiency, while maintaining full modularity. Seasonic claims this will not only improve reliability, but also performance.

Additionally, the new X-Series PSU's are equipped with a “Hybrid Silent Fan Control”, which allows the unit to adjust fan operation automatically based on ambient temperatures. This feature includes a Fanless Mode, a low speed Silent Mode and a high speed Cooling Mode.
